The Social Media Manager will craft and execute an engaging global social media strategy. This position is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies and engagement tactics across multiple channels for multiple global markets. As a central part of the global indirect sales team of the Mercer Talent Business, this role helps grow the business through social media interactions to drive sales, lead streams, and client retention and loyalty. The person in this job will create compelling digital campaigns, complement larger direct response campaigns with digital components and develop plans of action and benchmarks for success. This role collaborates with marketing, indirect sales, eCommerce, and product management teams to maximize opportunities to meet business objectives. Additionally, this position leads community management in the social space, assesses social channels and opportunities on a global scale, and provides strategic direction for social activity at the business level. The role focuses on revenue generation and market share through a forward thinking approach that supports brand promotion, online selling strategies and marketing techniques. To fulfill this role, the Social Media Manager will:
Develop social media networking community programs and promotional calendar that builds awareness and engagement of Mercer Talent solutions, services and promotional events (e.g., networking meetings, publications, surveys, etc.)
Help create assets and supporting materials to execute programs on social media platforms, including day-to-day management on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms where we have presence
Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive social media strategies that will increase brand visibility and traffic across all social platforms including content development, community engagement and management
Create media solutions that market Mercer Talent products and services by understanding target audience/potential clients needs and behaviors for each of our products
Leverage consumer insights into acquisition and retention of customers
Assist in the development of metrics and key performance indicators to evaluate effectiveness of programs by partnering with marketing, indirect sales, eCommerce and product management teams; determine which social media platform is attracting and driving sales of services and products (i.e., where should Mercer promote its' services and products to attract client and increase sales of products and services)
Cultivate smart, strategic partnerships that support content and sales objectives, by working with both internal and external indirect sales contacts and teams
Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of social media, B2C or digital marketing experience preferred
Must be a creative thinker who continuously crafts innovative ideas to reach target audiences
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and an understanding of how to apply them in a manner that is fitting to the Mercer brand and business goals
Must be on top of new social media trends and experiences and can think and execute across digital, social and mobile platforms.
Strong knowledge of social media analysis tools (i.e., Radian6, Google Analytics, etc)
Strong project management, team leadership and decision-making skills
A strong communicator, both written and verbal
Experience with media planning
Experience working with interactive, creative and media agencies

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
