Cisco IT Operations Manager
The Cisco IT Operations Manager supports, monitors, designs, and deploys core IT infrastructure to support business needs, including day-to-day issue resolution and long-term strategic planning; serves as the IT support team leader managing team priorities, identifying recurring IT support issues, and prescribing long-term corrective action to improve team efficiency; manages IT vendors and software licensing compliance.
Infrastructure system includes Cisco Firewall, Cisco VPN, WAN, Cisco Phone System, Cisco Switches, APs, Servers, and other network devices.
As the Cisco IT Operations Manager , one is responsible for, however not limited to:
Maintain company infrastructure system for all 12
company locations and remote users, ensuring the systems are available while providing protection and reliable backups to the company data.
Plan, execute and maintain strategic infrastructure plan by delivering on yearly upgrades and replacements in a timely, in budget, and with minimal disruption to day to day business.
Key member in helping to design and implement the continual improvement of the company''s Disaster Recovery and High Availability plan to meet company requirements.
Produce monthly measurement reports on infrastructure statistics, like system uptime, bandwidth usage, etc.
Establish policy and maintain process to enforce use. Monitor accounts for security purposes regularly.
Setup and use Cisco network monitoring systems to help IT see bandwidth and traffic problems as well as be alerted when critical systems fails.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field

Cisco Operating Systems Knowledge
A valid driver''s license
Experience managing IS projects, budgets and team
Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
Willingness to travel
Telecommunication systems experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and keep organized
Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization
