Be a part of Internal Audit - impact and influence the direction of people's thinking through the impactful delivery of analytical findings.
Humana is seeking an Internal Audit Consultant to conduct internal audits and recommending solutions. You will develop and maintain key relationships by working within assigned areas to optimize business results.
Review and analyze processes, documentation, and data to identify gaps in the effectiveness of Humana's governance, risk, and control environment.
Drive perfect service through partnership with business process owners on assessment of the risk, control, and governance processes to ensure their execution at best in class levels.
Execute audit procedures related to your assigned functional area.
Develop and maintain key working relationships across Humana related to your assigned functional area.
Working specifically with leadership, identify new and emerging risks and then plan internally to monitor and control those risks.

## Qualifications
Role Essentials
Bachelor's Degree
3 to 5 years of audit or consulting experience
Likes to focus on the "big picture" and thrives in a fast paced, multi-project work environment
Computer literate (MS Word, Power Point, Excel)
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Role Desirables
Advanced degree preferred
Certifications such as CPA, CIA, CFE, or PMP
Knowledge of Humana's internal policies and procedures

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
