Seeking Validation Team Leads for full-time, contract positions within the health insurance industry. The Lead positions will be responsible for a team of individuals who will perform data and process validation for a large data repository. These leads will focus on quality assurance, development of validation plans, and identification of training requirements.
The Validation Leads will need to build and maintain solid working relationships with management and end users to provide a high level of accuracy and process efficiency. This candidate will be responsible for development of validation plans and creation of reports with a focus on accuracy and performance. The position requires attention to detail and proven analytical skills.
Responsibilities
-Lead a team of testers to support all UAT and Production Support triage processes for the new Product Management system
-Implementation of ongoing quality improvement processes
-Coordinate with business stakeholders on status of testing plans and actions being taken to mitigate any risks associated with each release
-Maintain metric and status reporting to assess performance
-Establish and facilitate interactive sessions with the business and Production Support to understand scope of known issues, which issues are technology vs. business related, and how they are prioritized in collaboration with end users
-Demonstrate effective facilitation practices
-Identification of training needs
-Create a detailed test case library for all functionality of the new product management system
-Create process documentation for the new product management system that will be used in the implementation of the system
Job Experience and Skill Requirements
-5
years of experience working on quality assurance and validation
-5+projects
-2
years of experience as a manager or lead position overseeing QA and
-2+validation teams
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
-Team player with positive mental attitude
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-Understanding of Medicare products
-Understanding of Agile Project Management methodologies (sprints, user stories, etc.)
Tools
-Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, Visio)
-SharePoint knowledge
-Understanding of testing management applications
-Version One
