Quality Analyst, Quality Department, Jewish Hospital, PRN

Under the direction of the designated Director / Manager, the Quality Data Analyst assists in data
collection and preparation for all operational aspects of the Quality Division. The Quality Analyst will
maintain reports for all data collected and manage associated databases and spreadsheets. The position
will work with designated quality improvement teams to assists in improving patient outcomes. The
Quality Data Analyst will utilize tools from occurrence reports, safety surveys, claims data, clinical audit
tools and other sources. The position will enter, collate, and aggregate data; converting basic information
into useable feedback to leaders and staff in order to improve patient safety and outcomes. The Quality
Data Analyst will participate in the processing and documentation of patient safety-related events and
ensure all activities are done in accordance with patient safety, regulatory, accrediting, and local, state,
and national guidelines. The Quality Analyst will be responsible for adhering to data collection reliability,
validity, and accuracy practices and deadlines as set forth from various regulatory, accreditation and
national agencies. The Quality Analyst uses understanding and awareness of policies, procedures, and
regulations and applies this knowledge to support the overall Quality Division's organizational priorities.
The position facilitates the establishment of a data driven culture in the clinical quality and operational
areas.


Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):
Associate's degree required
Will consider candidate with a high school diploma or technical certificate who is currently active
in an Associate's degree or vocational program with an expected graduation date within 1 year
from time of hire
Medical terminology knowledge required
Experience (required and preferred):
Experience in working with statistical data, creating charts, tables, and graphs required

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
