River Metals Recycling (RMR), a wholly owned subsidiary of DJJ, has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance position at our Louisville, KY facility.
Position Overview
1. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and stick welding.
2. Maintenance repairs on all equipment including but not limited to shredder, eddy current, baler, etc.
3. Change liners, grates, hammers, etc. on the shredder.
4. Work together with other maintenance teammates on preventive maintenance repairs, scheduled repair projects and normal production.
5. Operate mobile equipment as needed.
6. Minor cleanup throughout the yard.
7. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 2 years previous maintenance experience, including preventive repair in an industrial environment.
2. Previous experience operating a skid steer, forklift, loader and other equipment a plus.
3. Experience in an industrial/outdoor environment.
4. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability, consistency, and be self-motivated.
5. Flexible to work off hours, weekends, holidays.
