Assignment Capsule
Develop strategies and management programs to mitigate chemotherapy cost and trend while improving member s health and costs
Develop specific clinical rules that will be applied to Humana s data sets to identify opportunities for interventions with members and/or providers
Provide input to various matrixed work groups which strive to improve the member and provider experience
Support clinical research integration activities with Humana s internal research department
Provide input into modeling and tracking of program execution and goals
Monitor information in the public domain to provide insights into the pharmaceutical and payer industry where related to drug trend, drug pipeline and competitive intelligence
Develop program quality controls and measures

Degree of Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD or RPh) from an accredited School of Pharmacy
Active, unrestricted pharmacy licensure
Two years clinical experience in a specialty pharmacy related field OR managed care residency/similar residency experience
Passion for specialty drugs and the members they treat
Experience in analysis and problem-solving
Experience performing and interpreting clinical research studies
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience developing and delivering presentations on clinical and business topics
Flexible, dynamic personality with strong influencing skills, who works well in a team environment and is also an individual contributor
Ability to prioritize, organizes, and execute effective time management
Ability to assimilate, analyze, draw conclusions, and make recommendations from complex data
Ability to organize and lead matrixed teams, work in teams and perform in an individual capacity to achieve goals and meet deadlines

Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist
Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist
MBA a plus
Pharmacy practice residency or similar pharmacy practice experience
Knowledge of Medicare as it relates to pharmacy
